The first day I saw my son was the greatest of my life. </p> <p>Today was the first day at our new <a href="http://picasaweb.google.com/yaronsamid/FirstDayInTheCrowdSpotOffice#">CrowdSpot home</a> (pics), and more importantly the first day Team <a href="http://www.crowdspot.com">CrowdSpot</a> met together in one room. We’ve been holding off on announcing the team because we’re not all officially on board yet until August 1st, but today we held our kick-off meeting in a beautiful open space, literally above a garage in Herzliya Petuach; Maskit 15, CrowdSpot’s new home. </p> <p><img src="http://lh3.ggpht.com/_lPVDWjqBtNQ/TENYyAFflJI/AAAAAAAAF5o/NxSZA8QyqKI/s800/IMG_2131.JPG" width="529"/></p> <p>I’ve built a couple of companies from scratch and there’s nothing like the rush of these first days; the excitement of building something out of nothing, but there’s something special in the air at CrowdSpot. Maybe its Israel and the ocean breeze, maybe its the unique brainpower and young energy of the team, it may be the audacious, greater-good mission we’re on, or maybe all of the above. Whatever it is, it feels great.</p> <p>As an old-dog of startupland I’ve learned to fully experience and appreciate every moment of the ride. I’m grateful today. Thank you Raphael, Aviv, David, Lior and Ophir. Tomorrow is another first. Day two.
